From AUD $150.00
  • Duration: 8 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Langhorne Creek, SA
  • Product code: AGENT-013
We start our journey travelling inland towards Strathalbyn for a quick stop before heading into the Langhorne Creek region. On our way, we pass through dairy farmlands and dry land farming regions before reaching the all-important vineyards. At each winery, the knowledgeable cellar door staff will guide you through their range, providing tasting notes about the wines you will taste and share with you, the unique story pertaining to their brand.

This underrated wine region is located between the Adelaide Hills and Lake Alexandrina and the township is situated on the banks of the Bremer River and is one of our favourites to visit. The region has a wine history dating back to 1850 and is renowned for Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Chardonnay However, over recent years, the region has become an important area for trying/testing new varietals coming into Australia and the quality of Langhorne Creek’s Mediterranean varieties such as Montepulciano, Tempranillo, Lagrein, Dolcetto, Verdelho, Vermentino and Fiano is highly regarded by winemakers and producers in other regions.
